What is spring into art?

After the long winter of the High Sierra, Truckee’s vistas and landscapes come alive. Transforming from winter white to the inspiring colors and sounds of spring lays the foundation for much of the local arts scene and unique mountain culture. Truckee’s creative community reawakens with an abundance of events, celebrating the beauty of the season.

On March 26, 2024, the Town of Truckee declared April as Arts, Culture and Creativity Month alongside the State of California and the County of Nevada. This month-long campaign includes the 2nd Annual Arts & Culture Summit and Arts Advocacy Day on Wednesday, April 17th at the Capitol in Sacramento. Join us in kicking off a month of cultural offerings in a town we call home.
