Playwrights' Writing Group

Beginning Wednesday, February 5 and taking place at the Nevada County Arts Council’s office, 100 N Pine Street Suite C in Nevada City, every other Wednesday through April 16 from 5:00-7:00pm.

Whether playwriting is new to you or you're already an accomplished playwright, this group is open to all skill-levels. Come and get that new manuscript started, edited, or finished! The group will spend two hours together beginning with a short check-in, write in silence for the majority of the time, and end with a short check-out. Check-ins will be an opportunity to share resources, writing tips, and discuss goals and challenges.

The group will not focus on feedback during the gathering, but additional sessions to provide feedback can be scheduled. The primary focus of the group is to work on your own play! Bring your computer, notebook, iPad, or whatever you like to use for writing. All playwrights welcome!

Kimberly Clouse will be leading a playwrights’ writing group starting Feb 5 and meeting every other week at the Nevada County Arts Council. Please contact Kimberly if you have any questions, 707-292-9498 / marionsfirebykimberly@gmail.com
